These terms apply to bookings made with SANS PATRIE/ STUDIO, 76 Digby Road, Hackney, London E9 6HX. By paying a deposit you accept them. SANS PATRIE/ STUDIO is a trading name of DEAL WITH DOLPHIN LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12541624), registered office 16a St. James’s Park, Croydon CR0 2UT.
/ Who we can tattoo
You must be 18 or over. We ask for photo ID, and we will not tattoo anyone who cannot provide it, whatever the circumstances.
Before your session you will be asked to read and sign a consent form, including a health questionnaire. We cannot tattoo you without it.
We will not tattoo anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Tell us before your appointment about any medical condition, medication, allergy or pregnancy that could affect the work or your healing. If something comes to light on the day that means we cannot safely proceed, we will say so.
Our artists may decline a design or a booking at their discretion.
/ Deposits
To secure your booking, a deposit is required at the time of reservation. This deposit is deducted from the final price of your tattoo.
The deposit amount depends on your artist and the length of your session, and is confirmed when you book.
Deposits are paid by a payment link, bank transfer or PayPal. Sessions themselves are paid in cash.
Deposits are non-refundable. The only exception is where the artist has to cancel outright and no new date is offered.
If you booked online or over the phone, UK law entitles you to a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of deposit payment, during which you may cancel for a full refund. Please note: if your appointment is scheduled within 14 days of booking, or if you request that design work commence immediately, you expressly agree to waive your full cancellation right, and a deduction will be made from your deposit to cover costs and bespoke design work already completed.
/ Changing or cancelling
To move an appointment, give us at least 72 hours’ notice and confirm a new date. Your deposit carries over.
Less than 72 hours’ notice forfeits the deposit, and a new deposit is required to rebook.
You may reschedule once. A second change means a new deposit.
If you do not arrive, or arrive too late for the booked work to be completed, the session is treated as a cancellation on the day.
/ Sessions and rates
Rates depend on your artist and the size of your piece, and are confirmed at the time of booking.
/ Designs and artwork
Designs are created for you and are not reused, but the artist retains copyright in their own artwork.
We may photograph finished work. It is published on this site or on our social channels only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
/ Aftercare
We will give you aftercare guidance before you leave, and it is also published on our Aftercare page. Once you leave the studio, healing depends on how the tattoo is cared for, and that is your responsibility.
Touch-ups are free when claimed within six months of your appointment. Get in touch with the studio to book one.
/ If something goes wrong
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your service or experience an issue, please tell us as soon as possible. Email info@sans-patrie.com or call +44 20 7336 8667, and we will work to address and resolve it directly with you.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable, nor for any indirect costs (such as travel or lost earnings).
We are not liable for complications or damage to your tattoo resulting from a failure to follow the studio’s written and verbal aftercare instructions.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else where it would be unlawful for us to do so. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
/ Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
